I drew this last summer at Lynda Barry's Writing the unthinkable workshop. Lynda Barry asked us to draw something while listening to other people. She said "keep your hand moving."
He played. good. We listened. good.
Drummer stole our hearts.
"I don't want to get older before I have to" -looks around 70 years old An elder audience member at Jill and Julia show was singing along.
A group of old friends were watching their friends read a play.
"Look at that! Like cockroaches!" "might it be evolution of human beings?" There were many amazing moments in the performance of Mark Morris Dance Group.
I love watching people who watch people on the stage. Taming of Shrew, San Francisco, Dolores Park
a couple minutes before the play, the little prince, begins the guy sitting next to us stood up and showed his tattoo to us "I have watched this play 10 times. I had this tattoo last week"
In the concert she used a cookie tray as an instrument an at the end she asked: "who wants this smashed cookie tray" today's fetish object is a smashed cookie tray
one of the very best moments during the play: the actor lost his control and laughed hard "Have you ever seen something like... Ha ha ha ha ha ha" "Noo!... ...giggle... ha ha ha"
A friend of mine told me about a pathetic stage show called as "the woman who never laughs as" that she saw on TV There is this down faced woman sitting on a Greek column. The boys coming among the audience are trying to make her smile with their awful jokes.
If the entire audience is laughing at a movie is it success or failure?
