"I made a birthday cake!.. I did it!" Tastes good but looks awful If you say people "I made a birthday cake today" they are asking: "oh, whose birthday?" Nobody's birthday! Just for fun...
as a touristic attraction we ate beignets. a square piece of dough fried and covered with powered sugar ... and when we were done it was like after a snow storm.
The lady sitting at the next table in a cafe kindly offered the Turkish delight which comes with her Turkish coffee to me. She said she loves the coffee but if she eats the delight each time she is going to look like Dumbo.
