friends around dinner table

In Bette's ocean view diner you can not see the ocean but you can eat amazing pancakes and omelets. P.S. this is not an advertisement. This is Just being affectionate about a diner that I like (some kind of defense)
The food in Berkeley reminds me the food that we buy from the weekly food bazaars in Istanbul + Izmir (Turkey)
I made the pancakes my fiends made the Turkish Coffee we ate; we drank; and we talked about important and silly things "our neighbor downstairs at 8:30AM until 9:10AM listens same music over and over again." "Something like Let it Go Let It Go" "Poor girl" "Poor me"
if I would have seen this family in a movie I would say exaggeration but they were there... sitting next to us... "Yes sell those papers before 2 pm today. Can you do it? Good. Then buy the ones..."
she made a very sincere statement that I wholeheartedly believed "I love 80's music" (a very fun woman to talk) Then in a magical way they played a song from Duran Duran in the restaurant...
"The biggest star of Turkey is Sezen Aksu" "No doubt" "Now we are talking!" "Right on!" "Needless to say it..." Turkish people always argue. I witnessed a rare moment of agreement...
I bump into a childhood friend of mine whom I have not seen for ten years... She was holding her baby...
It has always been a spectacle watching people who eat with a fabulous appetite
